Ordinance on Federal Identity Management Systems and Directory Services

(IAMV, SR 172.010.59)

Regulates the identity management systems (IAM systems), the directory services and the central identity repository of the Federal Administration.

Ordinance on the Processing of Personal Data and Data of Legal Entities Arising from the Use of the Federal Electronic Infrastructure

(OPAFI, SR 172.010.442)

Regulates the handling of personal data also with regard to standard services (including the eIAM service).

Federal Law on the Use of Electronic Means to Carry Out Official Tasks

(EMOTA, BBI 2023 787)

Creates the conditions to ensure cooperation, expansion and development between the authorities of different communities, as well as between these authorities and third parties, with regard to the use of electronic means that facilitate the performance of the authorities tasks.
